Not able to sleep at night by constant noise of the dripping? No need to send sleepless nights now. Follow the simple tips to fix a leaking shower head, and you will no longer suffer from insomnia.
In general, the shower head leaks through worn rings. In such cases, what you need to do:
• Unscrew shower head and check the ring is usually below the ball.
• Check the seal. If it is worn it leaves soot marks.
• Remove the seal with youHardware store and get the right size of the ring.
• Slide the ring and wrapped with a piece of Teflon tape, the threads.
• Now screw the new shower head back and review by the changeover to the water supply.
• Do not wear too tight, as you may risk damaging the threads.
• If shower head does not come out to use vaseline or grease, leave it for an hour and try again.
• Never try to pull on the joints, as this may crack the head assembly.
Another problem forLeaks could change. In such cases,
• Turn off the water supply
• Remove the faucet handle and then the cap.
• Use a wrench to remove the diverter valve.
• Loosen the assembly, remove the stem and check washer. When worn out both the valve and washing machine.
• Clean all in the assembly and after receiving the parts replaced everything back together again.
• Turn off the water supply and check all the drips.
• DragShower head again.
Now sleep in peace. They are no longer sleepless nights due to dripping.
